Adding Local SEO Citations

In this video we go over local citations, briefly what citations are, how to add them and exactly how they work within Link Emperor.

What is a citation?

Citations help with rankings for both local search terms and rankings in google places for brick and mortar businesses with an address.  Citations usually consist of the business name, address, and phone number.

How do citations work with Link Emperor?

Local citations can be added on a campaign-by-campaign basis.  They are not required, so add at your discretion.

Note: Campaign allocations must be turned on to implement this functionality.

To add a citation to a campaign,

  1. Click the pencil for the campaign that’s located on the right-side of the screen.  The edit campaign window will pop up.

  2. On the bottom of the page, there will be a field to add your local citation.  Add your name, address, and phone number of the company here.

  3. Once your information is in the system, it will be added to the end of any articles that are used for a blast.  We will first spin the articles then append the citation to the end of the article.
